In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and §10 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we publish the contact details of our Grievance Officer.

What we handle
- Reports of unlawful, abusive, or rights-infringing content.
- Requests under the DPDP Act: access, correction, erasure, consent withdrawal, data portability.
- Reports of impersonation, harassment, or harm to a minor.
- Appeals against moderation decisions (content removal, account suspension).
- Copyright (DMCA-style) takedowns of indexed news content.
Response timelines
- Acknowledgement: within 24 hours.
- Initial response: within 15 days (DPDP §10(2)(b)).
- Resolution: within 30 days, unless the complaint is complex and we notify you of an extension.
- Child-safety reports involving minors: prioritised, target action within 24 hours.
What to include
To help us act quickly, please include:
- Your name and a contact email/phone.
- The URL or article ID of the content concerned, if any.
- A clear description of the issue and what outcome you seek.
- Any supporting evidence (screenshots, court orders, copyright proof, etc.).
- For DPDP requests, sufficient identity verification.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our resolution, the DPDP Act §13 allows you to refer the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.
